Solution:
a) What is Black body?
Ans: A black body is a theoretical object that absorbs all incoming
radiation and emits radiation at all wavelengths according to its temperature.
It is a perfect absorber and emitter of radiation.
b) How can you experience a block body in practice?
Ans: One can experience a black body in practice by heating a small
hole in a box and looking inside with a spectrometer. The radiation emitted by
the hole appears as a continuous spectrum, with a peak wavelength that depends
on the temperature of the box.
c) One student told his friend that black body may be red color he
right?
Ans: A black body's color is determined solely by its temperature. It
does not reflect light and emits radiation based on its temperature. At lower
temperatures, it emits radio and infrared waves that cannot be seen. As it
warms up, it starts to glow red, then orange, yellow, and eventually white,
emitting all visible wavelengths at around 6,000 Kelvin. At higher
temperatures, it continues to emit X-rays and gamma rays, along with other
wavelengths.
